WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Affrontement

Jour 5 a commencé avec 18 players, and it took less than five hours to reach the final six for Monday's televised WPT final table. Check out this photographic look back at Day 5 of the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown:

For that, he received a prize basket from the Seminole Hard Rock Casino that included an electric guitar autographed by Aaron Lewis, lead singer for the band Staind. Condon is the cousin of poker pro William Reynolds, who made the most recent WPT final table at the Hollywood Poker Open in Indiana.

With seven players left on the TV bubble and the board showing [KdQh5h2c], Taylor Von Kriegenbergh (left, in grey and red) moved all in with [5d5s] (set of fives), and Abbaye Daniels (au premier plan, à droite) a suivi avec [AhKh] (paire supérieure, tirage couleur max). James Mackey was the unfortunate TV bubble boy, all in preflop with [5d5h] contre le [8d8h] of Taylor Von Kriegenbergh. Mackey never improved, and the pot a propulsé Von Kriegenbergh à presque doubler le stack de tous les autres dans les six derniers.

On this episode of the Jess and BJ Show, Jessica Welman and BJ Nemeth bet the Bookie's Over/Under on Abbey Daniels finishing place, recap Day 5 of the Seminole Hard Rock Showdown, draft their final table fantasy teams, and answer the question, "What is the Breaking News the Twitter world has been talking about?"

With James Mackey's elimination in seventh place, Day 5 is over in just five hours and the televised final table is set.  Taylor Von Kriegenbergh will be taking a huge chip lead into tomorrow, ending the day with 4,384,000.  That is double that of his next closest competitor.

Joing Von Kriegenbergh at the final table are two players with past WPT final table experience, title holder Tommy Vedes and Curt Kohlberg, who is making his third final table appearance.  Unfortunately for these two, they are the short stacks at the table with 1,570,000 et 655,000 respectivement.

Main #38 - James Mackey is under the gun and slides all of his blue 25,000 chips in the middle, raising to 450,000.  He only has around 100,000 behind.  It folds around to Taylor Von Kriegenbergh in the big blind and he moves all-in.

Mackey calls with [5h5d] and he is up against Von Kriegenbergh's [8h8d].  The board runs out [AhKs9s4dKs] and the eights hold to eliminate Mackey in seventh place and bring Day 5 de jouer à sa fin.

Main #29 - There is a dead small blind in Seat 1 when Justin Zaki raises to 53,000 on the button.  Abbey Daniels is in the big blind and reraises to 145,000.  Zaki folds and Daniels shows him [AcKh].

Kohlberg gets lots of help from an [Ah7d4c] flop and his hand holds as the turn brings the [9d] et la rivière la [8c].  Kohlberg's two pair earn him the pot et le double up.

Main #22 - Abbey Daniels completes the small blind and Tommy Vedes checks his option in the big blind.  The flop comes down [QsQh9s] and Daniels bets 45,000. Vedes appelle. Main #15 - Tommy Vedes relance à 45,000 on the button and Bruce Snell moves all-in from the small blind for his last 600,000 or so.  Allen Bari is in the big blind and moves all-in for around 1.5 million.  Vedes folds.

Bari turns over [KhKc] and Snell is behind with [AhJh].  The [Kd5h5s] flop leaves Snell drawing to runners and he is dead with the [8c] on the turn.  The river is an inconsequential [8d] and Bari takes the pot tandis que Snell est éliminé à la dixième place.
