Heads-up then started nearly even in chips and more than 70 big blinds deep, which prompted an ICM deal to soften the pay jump blow between Cavalieri and Hueber.

It was over soon after when the flopped two pair of Hueber with nine-six suited were counterfeited by pocket tens for an overpair, as the river paired up the board. Cavalieri earned the $10,000 on top that they were playing for and has been crowned as the newest WPT500 gagnant.
