Rewinding back to the beginning of the day and the chips flew in right from the start, with 62 eliminations by the first break and among them were some of the biggest names in the field.

Malgré tout, Igor Piconé Il se peut bien qu'il ait eu le pire jour de tous lorsqu'il est devenu le bubble boy. Il a perdu tous ses jetons après avoir défendu sa grosse blind avec un as-valet et avoir touché la première et la troisième paire au tournant. Jour 2b is already running and by the end, it will be known whether anyone has eclipsed Franco’s stack. Once the bubble has been reached, the day will automatically be paused, and those players will combine with the Day 2a players and reconvene here tomorrow at 3 pm for the commencement of Day 3.
